Your first watercolor shows your natural aptitude, Janaka. How wonderful that the person drawing the dragon gave you a kick in the butt to “just do it”. I love when the universe does that for us! :)
I'm so glad you shared this story about how your love of art began, Janaka. I had no idea. I love your watercolour drawing of the castle on the Rhein. It's magnificent. No wonder your wife doesn't want you to sell it :) Great story!
Thanks for sharing this beautiful journey. Would like to share something here: I started trying drawing and Colors when my son stopped using his art supply and shifted to sports. It was part curiosity and bit of effort to use that unused supply. Soon I was doing it regularly and found that I am liking it.
We can never know the experience without trying. Failed effort is always much better than no effort.
Good to hear. about your foray into the arts. Although, I don’t believe there is any failed effort, for it is all an act of creation. Sure, it might not meet expectations. And it may not be worth keeping. Still, it is the Process. Happy creativity.
You just reminded me that creativity doesn’t arrive in a single moment, but it grows every time we dare to try again.
Beautiful!
Yes, like a tree. Thank you, Anthi🙏❤️

As you know, no accidents. I welcome kicks in the butt by the Creator:)
Me too. :)
I enjoy watching the evolution of your art. Well done.
Thanks, Sam
